Landscape and inscape - Vortrag

In July, we presented in our Gallery of Art Critics in Prague the exhibition titled "Revelation of the Landscape". There were exhibited works of the Studio of Environmental Work of Faculty of Brno University, which has developped unique program of new eco-culture creation, during past ten years. It combines nature and urban environments, based on the unity of outer and inner landscapes, putting emphasis on the symbiosis of natural nad spiritual eco-systems, deeply related to the Symposium's theme of quality. I would like to show you the most interesting projects of these young Czech artists, involved in the program of cultural environment creation.
On the other hand, we actually present in our gallery similar project of Japanese artists, called "Vision". This was organised as an exchange exhibition between High Schools of Art in Tokyo with the above Czech young artists, concentrated also on the theme of creation of urban environment and nature, or better the assimilation of artificial and natural concepts of landscape. As this Japanese exhibiton also investigates possibilities of artistic expression in relation to our living environment, conceived as an unity of our world reflection and world projection, under use of various media of artistic expression, I am going to show also pictures of these works, evaluating a role of technical media within artistic research. I believe it would be a good contribution for clarification of "interdisciplinary" qualities, important for us as our living attitude.
